Making A Dessert “44” Liqueur

I got this off the television. It reminds me a little of Grand Marnier.

You will need:

  • 1 large orange
  • Paring knife
  • 44 coffee beans
  • 44 sugar cubes
  • 1 bottle of orange flavoured vodka
  • Large glass jar.

For each coffee bean, cut a slit and push it into the orange. When done, put orange into jar. Now add the 44 sugar cubes and the vodka. Shake the jar until the sugar dissolves. Make sure the lid is on tight or you may get that way licking it all up. Remember-waste not, want not. Now put it in a dark room and let it sit for 44 days.

Strain into a serving carafe and enjoy. It smells great, tastes good. Try sipping it, as it is strong.  Now say, “Damn! I can do this”.
