Just a tip to make sure no one gets cut and your cutlery comes out of the dishwasher sparkling clean.
Make sure to rinse them off before loading the dishwasher. Now place knife blades down and fork tines up (this ensure they get washed properly) so all traces of food are removed. Spoons – whichever is the easiest for you. This may seem fussy, but is worth it.
If you have good silverware, do NOT put in the dishwasher. It could turn them very grey and that would be a tragedy.
