I kid you not, this is SOOOOOooooo dry! Great for the purist-type martini consumers.
- 4 parts vodka (Grey Goose is best for this type of drink)
- 4 parts gin
- 1 part white vermouth (sweet)
- dash of scotch
In chilled martini glasses, pour in the scotch and swirl around to coat the inside of the glass. Pour the ingredients into a shaker with cracked ice and shake really well. Strain into chilled glasses and garnish, of course, with the proverbial olive.
If you still have any tartar on your teeth after this one, let me know. (just kidding).

Sip On The Beach martini
- 3 parts Coffee Vodka
- 3 parts Kahlua
- 1 Part Grand Marnier
Pour ingredients into shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake really well for about a minute and strain into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with chocolate flakes and a twist of orange.
This is a really nice martini. Try it! This will make you wish you WERE on a beach somewhere.

Colour Me Orange Martini
I seem to be on a martini kick again. It is so much fun…This one is too easy but yummy.
- 2 parts Orange Vodka
- 1 part Grand marnier
Pour into shaker with cracked ice and shake well. Strain into chilled martini glasses and garnish with (what else?) an orange twist.
I did say this was easy didn’t I? Hint: you can use blood oranges as well. they have a “finer” flavour.

Signature Valentine Martini
Men, get ready to pamper the lady of your choice.
Try this one.
- 2 parts Raspberry liqueur
- 1 part raspberry vodka
- 1 part cinnamon liqueur
Pour ingredients into a shaker with cracked ice and shake well. Strain into chilled martini glasses and garnish with a couple of fresh raspberries.
OR
Change the raspberry liqueur and vodka to strawberry and garnish to a fresh strawberry.

New Years Martini
With company coming for New Years Dinner, I needed a new martini to begin the evening with style. My daughter and I made this one over the holidays and enjoyed it so much we served it to company the next evening. All we heard was “ummmm, tastes like more”. Gotta love company.
New Years Martini
Chill martini glasses and swirl in a fancy pattern, plate scrapers in Caramel flavour. Not lots but enough. (try it first and then you will know. Always sample the drink before, I always say…..
Pour: 2 parts Vodka
- 1 part Creme de Cacao
- 1 part Butterscotch Schnapps
- 1 part Godiva white chocolate.
Pour all into a shaker filled with cracked ice and shake well, Strain into the chilled glasses, You can garnish with a few Skor bits (from the baking section of the store) or white chocolate shavings.

Innocent Lady Martini
Fellas: if you want to make brownie points, try this one.
Ladies: this is just for you. Enjoy!
- 2 parts Chocolate Vodka ( you can also use plain Vodka or even Vanilla Vodka)
- 1 part Amaretta
- 1 part Kahula
- 1 part Baileys
Pour a little Amaretta in a saucer, dip the chilled martini glass in and then into a saucer that you have shaved white chocolate. Now in a shaker with crushed ice, shake a minute or so, and strain into the glasses. Aaah, yummy!

Romance in a Martini
If you are wanting to make brownie points with your lady, try this.
- 1 1/2 oz. pear flavoured vodka
- 1/2 oz. apricot brandy
- 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
Half fill shaker with ice, add the ingredients. Shake vigorously. Strain into chilled glass and garnish with thin slice of pear.
Cold Outside, Fireplace Inside and….
For the cosiest of time and the loveliest of drinks, go for this one. I could call it a martini but we would be lying. It takes heat proof glasses….
You will need (if serving 6)
- 4 cups eggnog,
- 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder,
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup grated semi-sweet chocolate
- 8 oz. cinnamon vodka
Garnish: cinnamon sticks and more grated chocolate.
In a large saucepan, combine eggnog, cocoa and cinnamon and whisk together until combined. heat until it simmers only (NOT BOIL). Add the chocolate and whisk together until melted. Remove from heat and add the cinnamon vodka. Pour into heat-proof glasses or mugs that are rimmed with grated chocolate. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
What gingerbread house? what Christmas turkey…you get the picture. Drink responsibly and really enjoy the moment and the season. Anyone for jammies and popcorn?
Blood Orange Martini
Before I go to work for my other half, I thought I would tickle your fancy with yet another martini
- 1 1/2 oz. gin
- 1/2 oz. Campari (adds colour and punch)
- dash of vermouth
- 1 1/2 oz. blood orange juice
Fill shaker with ice, add ingredients and shake well. Strain into chilled glasses and garnish with a blood orange twist.

Virtual Whaaaat?
We have a virtual tour of our place this morning and a showing in the afternoon. You want another what today? Maybe later. Oh, wait a minute. Try this martini out. It is really nice.
Chocolate Pear Martini
- 2 shots of pear vodka
- 2 shots of Baileys
- 2 shots white chocolate liqueur
Pour into shaker filled with ice and shake a few seconds. Strain into chilled martini glasses and put a small slice of pear on the side of the glass. Really smooth!

The Holiday Martini
Last night when my friend was over, I made a Holiday Martini. Always remember to chill the glasses.
- 6 parts commercial egg nog
- 2 parts vanilla vodka
- 1 part Baileys
- 1 part Creme de Cacao
Pour into shaker filled with ice, and shake for a few seconds. Strain and sprinke a teeny amount of fresh grated nutmeg on top. One sip and she said “yummmmmm, tastes like another”.
Another successful venture into the martini world.

Martini in Blue
Not only is this pretty to look at, it is really quite tasty.
- 2 parts Blueberry Vodka
- 2 parts Blueberry Schnapps
- 1 part Chambord
- Frozen Blueberries
Pour ingredients into shaker filled with ice and shake well. Strain into chilled martini glasses and garnish with a few frozen blueberries. Serve immediately!
