This is a really neat martini to try. It tastes like the almond/coconut/chocolate bar you could buy when I was growing up. We don’t buy chocolate bars per say anymore, so I don’t know if they still exist. Anyway….
You will need:
- 16 parts Chocolate vodka
- 2 parts Frangelico liqueur
- 1 part creme de cacao
- 1 dash of coconut syrup
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice and shake really well. Strain into chilled martini glasses with 1 unsalted, roasted whole almond.
It’s neat and yummy-yummy!
Coffee “2” Martini
Okay, okay, I used the word martini a little loosely, but since I only deal with martinis, I couldn’t do it any other way. On a cool/cold evening, sitting in front of a fireplace with a blankie over your lap this is the drink of choice…
You will need
- 3 parts coffee vodka
- 1 part Frangelico
- 2 parts HOT coffee
Pour ingredients into a heat proof container and gently stir. Now pour into fancy coffee mugs and top with whipped cream and a finely chopped, roasted hazelnut.
Hmmmmm….maybe another one would take the chill off the night, especially at the lake/camping, as this is just plain comfort food. Well, at least the hazelnut counts as food, doesn’t it?
Enjoy!
Ed ‘n Mark Martini
This is for two very hard working men in the construction business. They have done so much for us, this one’s for them.
- 10 parts Grey Goose Vodka
- 2 parts Frangelico liqueur
- 2 parts Creme de Cacao
- 1 part Bailey’s liqueur
Pour ingredients into a shaker with cracked ice and shake well. Strain into martini glasses. Garnish with a few roasted pine nuts.
When you build your home, make sure you get the best men to get the job done. We did!
