This is nicer and makes you think of the south of France or wherever your ‘happy’ place is…….
- 2 parts Raspberry Vodka
- 1 part Creme de Cassis
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice and shake for a minute and strain into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with fresh raspberries.
You may like this so much it could taste like two. Any more than that and it is hangover time. Be careful.
Bonnie’s Martini
My blog, my martini…so there! Well, actually I was stumped for a name that fit. It is 7 a.m. and believe me, I’ve not had my fill of coffee yet.
- 3 parts Chocolate Vodka
- 2 parts white Creme de Cacao
- 1 splash of Grand Marnier
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice and shake only 3 times. Strain into chilled martini glasses and garnish with white chocolate shavings.
The Devil’s Martini
We always start our guests off with a Signature martini (many different kinds) and this is a great one as well.
- 3 parts Vanilla Vodka
- 1 part Creme de Cacao
- 1 part Midori Melon liqueur
- 1 part White Cranberry Juice
- 1 part Orange Juice (no pulp)
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice and shake well. Strain into well chilled glasses. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and an orange slice.
I told you these signature drinks is the way to go. Again, another yummy!
White Cherry Martini
It’s not that I am promoting drinking the summer away…hmmm? No, but this is another goodie to try.
It is the easiest yet to date but tasty. The secret to a good martini is always chill your glasses and make sure you shake for 10-15 seconds to get it really cool.
- 2 parts Vodka (try regular vodka or up it to chocolate vodka)
- 2 parts Creme de Cacao
- 1 part Cherry Brandy
- 1 tsp. juice from bottled cherries
Again, rim martini glasses with melted chocolate and place in the fridge to harden. Fill the shaker with cracked ice and shake it well.
Strain into prepared martini glasses. On a martini pick, garnish with a chocolate dipped maraschino cherry.
Oh My, My My Martini
Okay, so the temperature is getting hotter and the breeze from the patio/deck/beach is ever so gentle. What you need now is a martini that will have you saying “Oh My, My, My”.
It takes:
- 2 parts chocolate vodka
- 2 parts White Chocolate Liqueur
- 1 part White Creme de Cacao
- 1 part Irish Cream
- 1 part Raspberry Liqueur (like Chambourd)
Melt some white chocolate and rim the glasses. Place in the refrigerator to harden the chocolate.
Pour the Vodka and Creme de Caco in a shaker filled with crushed ice and shake well. Strain into the chilled glasses. Now pour the balance of the liquids into another shaker with crushed ice and shake well.
Here comes the fun part: Invert a spoon so that it rests on the opposite side of the glass (pointy end touching the base of the glass). Now slowly strain and pour the ingredients over the first layer. This might take a little practice. Garnish with a few fresh Raspberries.
Anyone you care to share this with will keep saying…’Oh My, My, My”.
Note: drink responsibly.
Ice and Snow Martini
Well, well, well.. it has been awhile since I came up with a recipe for a great martini. It is funny for the name as it is now summer, but would sure taste good when it is hot outside.
- 3 oz. mango nectar
- 2 oz. Grey Goose Vodka
- 1/2 oz. cream
- 1 oz. Creme de Banana
- 1 oz. Grand Marnier
Fill a shaker three-quarters full of crushed ice. Add all the ingredients and shake for a couple of seconds to let it get cold, now strain and pour into your sexiest martini glass. Add a few pieces of mango, chopped fine. For more “pizzazz”, add a strawberry and orange spiral on a toothpick and let it rest on the side of the glass.
Yumm!
Chocolate Pear Martini
Last night I tried this one on friends (one had never tried martini’s before) and a gentleman said “is this REALLY a martini”. It is a nice one for Father’s Day as well. Of course it is….read on
Chocolate Pear Martini
- 2 shots pear vodka (Blue Goose is the best)

Coffee Martini #3
I figure you have guessed by now what my favourite flavors are…if you guessed chocolate, coffee and a few others, you now can figure why I really like this one.
You will need:
- 3 parts Coffee Vodka
- 1 part White Chocolate Liqueur
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with cracked ice and shake well. Strain into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with one white chocolate curl and one coffee bean (chocolate covered, naturally).
A few of these over the next week and moving could become more fun! HAH! you dream.
Coffee “2” Martini
Okay, okay, I used the word martini a little loosely, but since I only deal with martinis, I couldn’t do it any other way. On a cool/cold evening, sitting in front of a fireplace with a blankie over your lap this is the drink of choice…
You will need
- 3 parts coffee vodka
- 1 part Frangelico
- 2 parts HOT coffee
Pour ingredients into a heat proof container and gently stir. Now pour into fancy coffee mugs and top with whipped cream and a finely chopped, roasted hazelnut.
Hmmmmm….maybe another one would take the chill off the night, especially at the lake/camping, as this is just plain comfort food. Well, at least the hazelnut counts as food, doesn’t it?
Enjoy!
Coffee My Way Martini
I love coffee and I really like martinis and use them as a signature drink BUT what if you switched it around and served it with dessert?
Try this:
- 3 parts Vanilla Vodka
- 2 parts Bolivar liqueur (Canadian coffee liqueur)
- 1 part chilled espresso
- 1 part Frangelico liqueur
Pour all the ingredients in a shaker filled with cracked ice and shake VERY well. Strain into chilled martini glasses and garnish with a chocolate covered coffee bean.
Bring on the cheese and crackers……enjoy!
Where’s Spring Martini
After the crazy attempts to a normal Spring, weather-wise, I think it is time to make a martini that just might spur things on.
You will need
- 3 parts Raspberry Vodka
- 1 part Chambourd
- 1 part cranberry juice.
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with cracked ice. Shake well. Strain into chilled martini glasses and garnish with ripe raspberries (3 should about do it). I meant 3 raspberries not…you get the picture!
Enjoy! Eventually Spring will arrive.
English Royale Martini
With the upcoming wedding in England, it only seems appropriate to make a martini to cover the event. You will need:
- 3 parts Cinnamon Vodka
- 2 parts Calvadoes Brandy
- 1 part Gold Schlager (need the ‘bling’ of course)
- 1 part white chocolate
Rim glasses by dipping in calvados and then into a mixture of cinnamon sugar.
Pour ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake well and strain into prepared chilled martini glasses. Garnish with a piece of cinnamon bark.
Gather round the television set and make a toast to the beautiful Catherine and handsome Prince William on their wedding day. Actually who needs the excuse of a wedding. This goes well at any time.
